Sunday morning clubs meet from 9:30 to 10:15 AM on Sundays, September through MAY.
Classes meet throughout the building.
The purpose of Sunday morning classes are to change lives for Jesus Christ by evangelizing the lost and discipling those who respond to the Gospel through our classes. Our Sunday School connects people to the body of Christ through biblical teaching, loving fellowship and missional service to others. This is the Great Commission.
Fulfilling the mission of EUMC Sunday School involves three main tasks:
1. Ministering to class members through Christian fellowship.
2. Teaching class members the Word of God to equip them as Disciples of Christ.
3. Helping class members find a place of service to help them grow in their faith.
Little Children’s Club (Newborn – Age 5/Kindergarten)
We provide a safe and caring environment for your precious little ones, newborns through 5 years, starting at 9:15 AM on Sunday mornings. In the nursery we don’t just baby sit; we begin to teach our small children about Jesus. We provide a unique way to introduce little ones to Jesus and His love. In ministering to all the needs of babies and toddlers, a foundation of trust is established between the church and parents. From 9:30- 10:15 AM, our Little Children’s Club will participate in lessons designed to give the children a first impression of their loving heavenly Father by focusing on Jesus and His love! We want them to know that Jesus loves them! Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me.” (Matthew 19:14) The nursery is conveniently located near the Sanctuary.
Bible Club (Children in grades 1-5)
We teach as Jesus taught!
When Jesus taught, he used everyday objects like coins, fish, and plants to help people remember God’s truth. We do the same thing. Just like Jesus, we use everyday items—gizmos—to help kids learn the Bible. Since children experience what they’re learning, it sticks with them for a lifetime. They think about all the different things they are trying for the first time and what they’re learning every day, even how to make and keep friends. We use unique games, snacks and crafts to help kids learn about God, because kids retain more by interacting with a lesson instead of just hearing it. Elementary-age kids are in a constant state of discovery and Jesus used everyday things to teach important truths. Discovering the Bible this way is a fun, hands-on experience that gets kids excited about coming to Sunday School. The Elementary Class is held in room 107 of the education wing.
Club 30 (Youth in grades 6-12)
Club 30 is based off of John Wesley’s Holy Club. Youth will have the opportunity to explore their Christian faith and grow in their understanding of the what they believe. Club 30 meets in the Youth Room, Room 6.
Tri-Club (Adults of all ages)
Our adult class uses Cokesbury’s Adult Bible Studies, a quarterly study presenting stimulating lessons that explore biblical messages and how to apply them to daily life. Adults of all ages are invited to participate in this engaging class. The Tri-Club meets upstairs in Room 211.
Bible Dynamics Club (Adults of all ages)
Bible Dynamics Club is an adult class that explores our relationship with God. The first theme is “Doctrine of God”. Bible Dynamics is taught by Pastor Michael Roberts and meets in the church Library.
