Good Friday Cantata

“It Is Finished,” a cantata by Mary McDonald will be presented at Emilie UMC on Friday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. A chamber orchestra will accompany our Sanctuary Choir & Friends for the retelling of Jesus’ final days on earth. It Is Finished is a Tenebrae service, or service of darkness. Gradually diminishing light will be used to symbolize the events of Holy Week from the triumphant Palm Sunday entry through Jesus’s burial.
