The reign of the King of Kings is like no other. We await the coming of Jesus, knowing that His kingdom ushers in a new era, one that gives us hope and peace.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the coming of your kingdom. Amen.
Day Eleven – Wednesday, December 11th
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 11:6-10
Although the pairings found in these verses are hard for us to imagine, they give us some insight into the amazing transformation
possible through God’s power. That’s the very same power that He promises us in the gift of His Holy Spirit. It is through His Spirit that we can live lives that bear the fruit of self-control, patience, peace, love, gentleness, faithfulness, and goodness.
Prayer: O God, pour your Spirit upon me. May my life bear fruit that will glorify you. Amen.
